Aims & Objectives
Maybe you have moved to Knaphill recently. Perhaps you do not feel part of the community even though you live or work here.
You may have concerns about local issues and want to get things done. You may not know who to contact. You may feel nobody in authority will listen to your point of view.
The Knaphill Residents Association is there to help you to get involved in the local community and have your say.
Knaphill Residents Association (KRA) is a group of ordinary, local people who care about the Knaphill area and want to work together to improve it. The KRA aims to:
-
build a stronger community by helping residents to work together
-
represent and campaign on issues that are important to Knaphill residents
-
work together to achieve better results than the individual could secure on their own
-
to be tolerant of different points of view
-
act in a non-party political way
-
help organise social events which help to bring people together
-
assist voluntary and charity groups in their efforts
Membership is open to all who live or work in Knaphill and have the best interests of Knaphill and its people at heart. We aim to help residents, traders, local businesses and community groups to work together: Local people working together for our local community.
